A Flower - A Poem

Beneath the suns sweet gentle rays,

A flower spreads it’s fragrant bloom,

I went to view the Earth’s beauty then,

And found myself burnt and sore for days,

Through a darkened sky a raindrop falls,

To quench the thirst of a flower’s stalk,

Walking home, I willed the rain to stop,

But instead got soaked through to my trawls,

Alone I lay burnt to a crisp,

My clothes are soaked, my eyes are sad,

You want to see me smile again,

So you bring me a beautiful flower.
